Should probably call the previous owner on this one. Don’t know what is in the hydraulic tank but suspect from the way the lift cylinders are leaking it is the cheapest available option. Anyway, from ISO46, AW46, Cat Advanced 10 and from what I am reading 10W motor oil…

What is it going in? The leaky cylinders most likely don’t have a thing to do with the oil just need repacking. 10W motor oil is comparable to AW32.

Sorry, yes, my D4D. The previous owner told me the gland nuts leaked so that was expected. Have a pad to build-up and level for a metal building after which the Cat can be parked and plans made for what to fix before spring. In the mean time, if the current ills can be endured for a couple more hours of work…
