I’m an occupational therapist assistant and I help patients become independent in their daily living skills, which include very personal ADLs such as dressing, toileting, showering, etc. Whenever I work with them on this I either shut the door or at least close the curtain for the sake of the patient’s dignity, self-respect, and privacy.
