What size band is 40E?
Band size is too big then try a smaller back size. A 40E will have a 2″ smaller back size and 2″ smaller cup size . The 40F will have a 2″ smaller back size and 1″ smaller cup size. 40FF will have a 2″ smaller back size and same cup size as the 42F.

How to increase cup size on a 44E?
If the band is too tight and you want to increase the band size then you can try a 44E which gives you a 2″ bigger back size and the cup volume will be the same. You can try a 44F which gives you a 2″ bigger back size and the cup will be 1″ bigger. Alternatively try a 44FF which will increase the band size by 2″ and increase the cup size by 2″.
When going up with the back size, do you need to go down with the cup size?
Remember when going up with the back size you need to go down with the cup size to keep the cup size the same as the current bra size. Accordingly going down with your back size you need to go up with the cup size to keep it the same.
Do European underwear brands make double cup bras?
Bra cup sizes do vary depending on the lingerie brand. European underwear brands do not manufacturer double cup size bras DD,FF,GG,HH and so on, so if you would normally wear a double cup size bra we would recommend you try for the next larger cup bra.

How should a bra band feel?
Band: The band should feel snug and comfortable on the loosest set of hooks. This allows you to move to the inner hooks to tighten the bra as it stretches with regular wear. The band should be parallel to the floor and should not ride up.
How to change bra cup size?
Starting on your current bra size, move to the left of the bra size chart for a smaller band and then move up to decrease the cup size. The cups and band are both too small: Go up in the band and the cups. Starting on your current bra size, move to the right of the bra size chart for a bigger band and then move down to increase the cup size.

To find your band size, put on a non-padded bra that fits you well. Find a measuring tape, and stand in front of a mirror. Wrap the tape around your body just underneath your bust. The measuring tape should be horizontal to the floor, and quite snug.

How to figure out sister bra size?
If you don’t have the chart handy, you can work out your sister bra size by going down a band size (or two, or three!) and up a cup size (or two, or three!) and vice versa.
Is cup size half the picture?
We hear from lots of women who have been told that they are a certain cup size, but cup size is only half of the picture.
Do sister sizes really work?
Are bra sister sizes actually accurate? They certainly are! Sister sizes work on the principal of ratios – it’s not sorcery – it’s a bit of math! So 34FF is the same as both 32G and 36F, because you’re adjusting the cup to back ratio. Wear any of the three and A-BRA-CAD-A-BRA – all three have the same amount space in the cups. (OK, we agree it is a bit magic!).
