How much bigger is a 36ff compared to a 34ff?
For example, if you usually wear a 34FF but find the band is too tight and you try a 36FF, you will end up getting one cup size bigger too! The cup size or ‘volume’ will vary depending on the band size it is on. Measuring in at 28G, my sister sizes would be 30FF > 32F > 34E.
Is 36F bra size the same across all brands?

Is a DDD the same as an F?
Is a DDD the same as an F? It might seem confusing, but yes a DDD is the same as an F—at times they are labeled differently based on the brand. After size D you can either go up to size DD which is the bra size equivalent to size E, size DDD which is equivalent to size F, and size DDDD which is equivalent to size G.
Is 34FF the same as 36F?
Sister sizes work on the principal of ratios – it’s not sorcery – it’s a bit of math! So 34FF is the same as both 32G and 36F, because you’re adjusting the cup to back ratio.

Should I go up a cup size or band size?
Proper cup fit is influenced by band size. As the band size changes, so does the cup size. For every band size you go down, you should go up one cup. If you are in a 34D with a good cup fit, but want to go down to a 32 band, you would go to a 32DD for a tighter band with the same cup fit.

How to increase cup size on a 44E?
If the band is too tight and you want to increase the band size then you can try a 44E which gives you a 2″ bigger back size and the cup volume will be the same. You can try a 44F which gives you a 2″ bigger back size and the cup will be 1″ bigger. Alternatively try a 44FF which will increase the band size by 2″ and increase the cup size by 2″.

For those of you wondering, the cup volume of a sister size is closest in fit to your true bra size. For example, if you normally wear a 34D in bras, your sister bra sizes are 32DD and 36C.
